Make a Donation
Successfully running an Ivy League sailing team requires much more than the dedication from our members. Every year, the team travels across the northeast competing in regattas to represent Columbia. In addition to travel and registration costs, the team funds maintenance and storage of our boats and transportation to practice.
Unfortunately, a majority of these costs are not covered by Columbia University, and instead the burden for funding this organization falls on our members and the generous donations of others. Any financial contribution to the Columbia University Sailing Team would be highly appreciated, and it would allow any member, regardless of financial standing, to participate in a sport they love.
Ways to Donate
Online
Columbia University provides an easy online website to donate online. Under School or Division, click on "Athletics". Under the designation, click "Other". For Comments/Special Instructions, be sure to put "Sailing Club fund # 11366". The online mechanism allows for both one-time and recurring donations, which can be set to a certain interval. We thank all of our supporters for their continued generosity.
Check By Mail
All checks need to be payable to "Columbia University", with "Sailing Club" written in the memo. Make sure that your name and address is on the check to receive tax deduction. Please postmark to:
